Housed in a reflector, the one-watt LED throws a far-reaching beam—plenty strong enough for pre-dawn approaches or route finding during a through-the-night single push. When all you need is close-range light, switch modes and use the three proximity LEDs, which emit ambient light for more than 140 hours.
A single switch on top lets you choose from four lighting levels for both modes—min, mid, max and strobe—to dial-in the light output to your needs. The batteries-up-front design works great for reading when you’re tent-bound while waiting for a weather window.
