Description
The Integral Designs Siltarp3 is a 120 sq ft, 10 ft x 12 ft rectangular tarp made from ultralight waterproof nylon.
Designed for adventure racers that need an extremely lightweight and versatile tarp to protect them from the elements, the Siltarp 3 will protect 4 - 5 in a semi-enclosed, modified, A-frame or be a wind/rain shelter for larger group. The possibilities are limitless for the different ways that you can setup the Siltarp3.
The 30 denier parachute ripstop nylon with silicon impregnation weighs only 1.35 oz per sq yard. It is incredibly strong and resilient. The Siltarp3 is designed for groups looking for a lightweight shelter. At 20 oz (560g) it is light enough to take on all trips.
The Siltarp3 has a seam down the center of the 12 ft length, which provides extra strength but does require manual sealing. There is 1 lightweight nylon tie loop sewn to a reinforced center patch and there are 20 lightweight nylon webbing loops sewn to the corners and at 2 ft intervals along the 12 ft sides and 2'6" intervals along the 10 ft sides. These loops facilitate a variety of setups on trekking poles, paddles, avalanche probes or off trees.
