Description
Climbing mountains often involves sitting around for days in your tent waiting for the weather to improve. The Integral Designs MK3 Tent has that extra bit of space for playing cards, lofty winter bags or tall people while offering all the same expedition features of the MK 1XL: tunnel vents high up on each side wall for extra ventilation, tie points 1/3 the way up each pole seam and a full sized 40" (102cm) high door protected at the top by a wire stiffened eyebrow peak allowing for ventilation.
The MK3 is the identical parabolic shape as the MK1 Lite, but is 25% larger 54" x 88" (137 x 224cm) floor with 45" (114cm) head space at apex. No-see-um mesh screen is integrated to the outside of the door and a vestibule zipper is pre-installed on the tent. An optional zip on/off vestibule is available for extra gear storage and cooking space.
Materials: Tegraltex. Comes with Easton Nano poles, six Easton 8" long light weight tubular aluminum stakes and four 10-foot lengths of 2.2mm cord.
